MASSILLON, OH-Ansell Healthcare Products, Inc. spent $98 million to acquire the Johnson & Johnson Medical glove business. Johnson & Johnson Medical's gloves are available in over 40 countries around the world, an important factor to Ansell Healthcare Chief Executive Officer, Harry Boon. He stated, "This acquisition strengthens Ansell Healthcare's competitive position globally,... is an excellent strategic fit and further enhances our strong position in the medical glove market... and will enable us to provide greater choice and better service to our customers worldwide."
