Medline Industries, Inc. announces that HealthTrust has awarded Medline an agreement to provide its full line of hand soaps and sanitizers to HealthTrust member facilities. The agreement is expected to help promote effective hand hygiene practices and drive significant savings and efficiencies for HealthTrusts member facilities, including acute-care facilities, surgery centers, physician practices and alternate-care sites.
The agreement includes Medlines Sterillium Comfort Gel®, Epi-clenz® foam and gel hand sanitizers and Skintegrity® soaps and lotions. Sterillium Comfort Gel is a scientifically tested alcohol-based antiseptic hand gel shown to increase skin hydration by 14 percent after just two weeks of use. Sterillium is manufactured exclusively for Medline by BODE Chemie for distribution throughout North America.
