Kimberly-Clark announces the availability of a new glove dispensing system, SmartPULL, for its STERLING and LAVENDER Nitrile branded exam gloves, designed to reduce waste from dropped gloves.
The new system features two separate openings on the box. The first, smaller opening is used when the box is full to reduce multiple dispensing, which often results in exam glove waste when gloves become unusable after falling on the floor. When the box is half empty, the second, larger opening allows for easier access to the gloves. The SmartPULL packaging dispenser technology can be used in medical, dental, laboratory and university research environments.

Both Kimberly-Clark STERLING and LAVENDER Nitrile Exam Gloves will be available in the new SmartPULL dispenser packaging. Kimberly-Clark STERLING Nitrile Exam Gloves offer superior comfort and stretch while still providing users with confidence in barrier protection and durability. STERLING NITRILE Exam Gloves are FDA cleared for use with the 12 commonly used chemotherapy drugs and also have an Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) of 1.0, indicating that the gloves are less likely to have critical defects than gloves with an AQL of 2.5.Â
LAVENDER Nitrile Exam Gloves, which will also be available in the SmartPULL dispenser, are thinner, lighter and more economical than standard nitrile, yet they retain the protective properties required for performance across a range of healthcare tasks.
