HealthTrust Purchasing Group, L.P. has awarded purchasing agreements to PREZIO Health, previously OnSite Services, establishing PREZIO as a contracted provider of endoscopic equipment and surgical instrument repair services for HealthTrusts 1,400 acute-care members, as well as alternate-care facilities, surgery centers and physician practices.
PREZIO Health will partner with HealthTrust hospitals, providing first-rate services for surgical instrument and endoscopic equipment repair. The current agreements, effective March 1, 2012, position PREZIO Health to advance the quality and breadth of its comprehensive service offering to HealthTrusts membership.
PREZIO Health is committed to driving continuous improvement in patient care by partnering with their clients to identify, prioritize and reduce variables with negative impact.
Our objective with this type of partnership is to help HealthTrust member facilities avoid the clinical and financial risks associated with poor quality instrument and scope maintenance and repair, says Dennis Streppa, president and CEO of PREZIO Health. These agreements contain both a traditional price offering and capitated pricing programs, which underscores our mission to help our customers improve service excellence in a revenue-constrained environment.
In March 2011, Frazier Healthcare Ventures acquired OnSite Services from CareFusion. The company, rebranded as PREZIO Health, previously held contracts with HealthTrust as a business unit within CareFusions V. Mueller division.
