US Endoscopy announces the expansion of its portfolio of VIA® procedure kits. The four new procedure kit configurations include the supplies needed to begin a GI endoscopy procedure as well as two of the newest care and cleaning products – the BioGuard® air/water & suction valves (for Olympus® GI endoscopes*) and the DuoSwift® combination squeegee brush.
The new, single-use BioGuard® air/water & suction valves offer an alternative option to the manual reprocessing of reusable valves. The DuoSwift® combination squeegee brush features a tapered nylon brush on the leading end and a series of squeegees on the trailing end, making it ideal for effective removal of liquid and debris from flexible endoscopes during cleaning. These four additional kit options join theextensive line of VIA® procedure kits, compliance kits and sponges.
“US Endoscopy has received several requests from our customers for additional procedure kit options that include our newest products,” says Tony Siracusa, vice president and general manager of US Endoscopy. “We are committed to expanding our portfolio of Care and Cleaning accessories and delivering solutions that help support our Customers’ infection prevention practices in their facilities.”
