Aaron Chau

Aaron Chau is the Director of Product at OhmniLabs, where he manages the product development for telepresence and UV-C disinfection robots and steers new product launches using his technical experience in clinical research, mechanical engineering, and robotics engineering. Aaron works directly with key clients and engineering counterparts to deliver customer-driven features for the most human-centric robotics for US healthcare.

Prior to OhmniLabs, Aaron has held positions with municipal government, clinical research in neuroscience, robotics development at Honda Research Institute Japan Co. Ltd, operations management at Amazon, and continued human-robot-interaction research with the HRI-KU Cooperative Intelligence Research Chair at Kyoto University. There, his work was recognized on the global stage as "Best Conference Paper" at IEEE's Conference on Robotics and Human Interactive Communication (RO-MAN) 2019, allowing him to distinguish his research early in the field. In the facets of his work, Aaron is passionate about bringing advanced technology, such as robotics, to real-world, customer-centric applications in service, healthcare, and other human-driven industries.
