Hebah Al Zamel, BSN, MSN, CPHQ, CIC, is a member of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control, a member of Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America, a member of the Infection Control Today Editorial Advisory Board, and an expert member of the Emirates Nursing Association. She worked as a nursing care policy consultant at Emirates Health Services, an infection control coordinator at King Abdullah University Hospital in the Quality Department, Infection Control Division, and an International Organization for Standardization-certified internal auditor. She is a trainer and expert on many topics concerning quality, patient safety, infection control, public health, and community health, especially in schools and health centers.
