On Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, join Karen Martin, RN, BS, MPH, CIC, director of infection prevention and environmental services at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Ill. to hear about how her facility has improved environmental cleaning results.
Recognized with the 2011 EVS Department of the Year award, Martin will discuss best practices and how they were able to use a programmatic approach to cleaning which included data collection and feedback to drive continuous cleaning improvement and staff engagement.
The session will be held from 11:30 a.m. to  12:45 p.m. in the Gaylord Palms Resort's Osceola A Ballroom.
