Article

Hype-Wipe Bleach Towelettes and Bleach-Rite Disinfecting Spray from Current Technologies have EPA-approved label claims for a one-minute kill time against several non-enveloped viruses, including norovirus, rotavirus, poliovirus and rhinovirus. Both products meet the CDC guidance for Environmental Infection Control in Hospitals for Ebola Virus, which states: "Use a U.S. EPA-registered hospital disinfectant with a label claim for a non-enveloped virus (e.g., norovirus, rotavirus, adenovirus, poliovirus) to disinfect environmental surfaces in rooms of patients with suspected or confirmed Ebola virus infection."

Hype-Wipe Bleach Towelettes and Bleach-Rite Disinfecting Spray also meet the CDC guideline "Severe Respiratory Illness Associated with Enterovirus D68 - Multiple States" which states: "As EV-D68 is a non-enveloped virus, environmental disinfection of surfaces in healthcare settings should be performed using a hospital-grade disinfectant with an EPA label claim for any of several nonenveloped viruses."

Both products contain a 1:10 stabilized bleach and detergent solution, with the expiration date on each bottle and towelette. Both products are also EPA-registered with kill claims against Clostridium Difficile spores, hepatitis, TB, and numerous additional pathogens.
