TRU-D automated UVC no-touch room disinfection technology was first to market and remains the innovation leader in portable room disinfection and providing consistent measured dose disinfection and real time infection prevention analytics to hospitals.
Lumalier was founded in 1963 to develop advanced Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI) technology, products, innovations and engineering controls that have led to safe and healthy living conditions for millions of people worldwide. Known for more than 50 years as the industry benchmark for safe, healthy air and surface disinfection, today, Lumalier has advanced to become one of the world's leading infection prevention technology enterprises, a modern, advancing company that's changing the way healthcare works by providing hospitals with leading-edge technology for terminal disinfection of health care environments.
Recently, Lumalier management celebrated an employee buy-out by Lumalier marketing director David Skelton and his wife Susan Skelton, owner of Safe Air Solutions, a Lumalier partner vendor that has installed Lumalier products into more than 5 million square feet of space, including schools, government buildings, hospitals and commercial offices. Lumalier's manufacturing and engineering teams related to these product categories have on average more than 20 years of experience and will join Evergreen UV as they move to a new location.
"The Lumalier team couldn't be in better hands as they transition to Evergreen UV with David and his wife Susan," Dunn says. "The company will continue to thrive as the industry UV disinfection leader dedicated to HVAC and upper-air UVC applications focused on indoor air quality and energy savings performance."
Skelton has more than 30 years of manufacturing and marketing experience and is an active member of ASHRAE, formerly known as the American Society of Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers. Susan Skelton has similar experience in product pricing, office management and contract negotiation through Safe Air Solutions.
