Every year, the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) recognizes the achievements of infection preventionist heroes on the frontline with the Heroes of Infection Prevention Award. Heroes and their programs represent some of the best practices in infection prevention. APIC says it needs your help to find the next set of unsung heroes.
APIC encourages infection preventionists to submit an application or nominate a deserving colleague for this prestigious honor. Tell APIC about your infection prevention heroes and celebrate their achievements.
Award recipients receive complimentary registration and travel to APICs 40th Annual Conference in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and recognition in APIC communications. For ideas on award-winning programs, view the profiles of the 2012 Heroes of Infection Prevention.
The Heroes of Infection Prevention Award is supported by a grant from BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company).
