The procedures and practices outlined in this resource have been reviewed by a team of environmental services and infection prevention professionals, including the AHEs Education and Knowledge Management Committee. The practices are evidence-based and provide the key elements ofwhat, how, when and by whom that are essential for optimal cleaning and disinfection in healthcare facilities.
